Everyone’s bringing their A-Game to this encounter! Apologies for the delay, I had to deal with a bit of clean-up following some crazy Nothing super bad but it  delayed my creative output several hours – and having a walk around my neighbourhood yesterday afternoon I saw that I got off very lightly compared to others, there was a lot of damage to some houses and even some very tall trees snapped in half. The storm was pretty scary at the time, never saw anything like it in the 13 years I’ve lived here. NEXT UPDATE: MONDAY DECEMBER 24, 2018: An Xmas Eve update… so apparently Go!Anna’s a fugitive now! I consider myself fortunate to have my day job, it pays pretty well and the management and my colleagues are great – just every now and then the pressure builds where I can’t think straight let alone draw straight. Ugh. But I believe I’ve managed to negotiate a new work plan that will reduce the likelihood of that happening again. As I said, great management. I’ve been interstate for a (day job) conference for most of last week… and even gave a presentation on my work that was well received, so it’s nice to get some recognition in that field.  Anyway, the rushing around is now officially over and, post-conference, I’m only a few days from heading into a three week vacation. A lot of which I’ll be using to write and draw. Magellanverse… which should be particularly useful with this update.
