29th Regional Conference on Solid State Science and Technology (RCSSST) 2016 will be held at KSL Johor Bahru from 15-17 November 2016. The Regional Conference of Solid State Science and Technology (RCSSST) is an annual event in Malaysia. This 29th Conference 2016 is jointly organized by the Advanced Optical Materials Research Group (AOMRG) and Physics Department, Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) as the host, in cooperation with the Malaysian Solid State Science and Technology Society (MAS*). The aim of this conference is to provide a platform for discussions on solid state science and technology in all aspects of physical and chemical properties, preparation and characterization techniques, optical properties; macro-, micro- and nano-structures. In addition, modelling, simulation and measurement methods as well as current developments in technology will also be discussed. (ICSSST 2015) is an annual conference envisioned as a platform for knowledge sharing. This conference is the ideal event to keep up with the current progress in research and development of solid state science and related areas. It offers opportunities of networking and interaction with local and international experts, scientists and researchers in the field, both from academia as well as from industries. The 5th ICSSST will be held in the beautiful lush tropical island of Langkawi, Malaysia, on 13th to 15th Disember 2015.
