After taking Voodoo on a few meet-and-greets with other prospective dogs we settled on this one (originally named “Heely” like those shoes, but thankfully she’s not responsive to that name). They seem to be getting along well and it’s only the first day so I think that’s a good sign. And it’ll be the first time in a long while I have a dog that actually plays with toys and likes strangers, so maybe she might even pull Voodoo out of her shell in time. I’ve been practicing my spoken French with the Google Translate app and just random phrases that come to mind. I was trying to stress “female dog,” but this was funnier and had me laughing my ti*s off.
