HOW DO WEIGHTED BLANKETS WORK? ​Weighted blankets provide de*p pressure to the body. These blankets eat up the thread, another $5.  Polypellets are expensive and, depending on the weight of the blanket, can run $15 - $40.   They also can be hard on a sewing machine, which needs to be cleaned and maintained regularly.
