it’s december! that can only mean another christmas collaboration video. last year i dream of fire spearheaded an epic lego themed january), we have encountered our first te*ptation. but before explaining the te*ptation, let me first set the stage for you. my wife my name is marc. i’m 39 years old and i live in pennsylvania with my wife and our two kids (5-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son). i’ve saving money and making money. i had been wanting to start a finance blog for years, but i always had other projects that took up all of my lot of my time i’m happy to be able to spend more time on vital dollar. my two biggest pas*ions are my faith and my family. i try to keep a healthy work-life balance so i can have plenty of time with my family. fortunately, working from home allows me to have a good bit of flexibility. i’m also pas*ionate about university of miami football, which can be exhilarating or depressing depending upon the outcome of the most i’d also say i’m pas*ionate about nature and photography. i like to photograph landscapes, and that usually means hiking as well. and like any other finance blogger, i’m also pas*ionate about money. being self-employed and having a family of four to support, money is on my mind a lot. i started vital dollar so i could write about the things i’ve learned over the years, and also so i can learn more i’m somewhat insecure about what i do for a living. i’ve been managing my own websites and blogs full-time for 10 years, but i rarely talk about it with friends and family (aside from my wife). most of them don’t understand what i do, and i prefer to keep it that way. i don’t ever show my websites to people i know, and in the very rare occasion that someone i know discovers one of my sites (it’s happened 2 or 3 times in 10 years) i’m horribly embarras*ed. part of it is that i’m insecure, and part of it is that i’m pretty. tell us something the readers of your blog or listeners of your podcast don’t know about you?
