NASA and industry partners are targeting the return of human spaceflight from Florida’s Space Coast in 2019. These flight tests will prove the space systems meet NASA’s requirements for certification to carry astronauts to and from the International Space SpaceX Demo-1 (uncrewed): 17 January 2019 SpaceX Demo-2 (crewed): June 2019 For the January 17 th uncrewed flight test, SpaceX's Crew Dragon spacecraft will launch on a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center. The June 2019 mission will see two NASA astronauts flying to and from the station in SpaceX’s Crew Dragon Boeing Orbital Flight Test (uncrewed): Mars 2019 Boeing Crew Flight Test (crewed): August 2019 For the uncrewed flight test, Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft will launch on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. For the mid 2019 flight test, two crew members will be aboard the Boeing Starliner.
