NAZARENE COMPAS*IONATE MINISTRIES (NCM) walks alongside local churches in their efforts to meet the needs of children, families, and communities. Through your partnership, local congregations are changing the world. In a church building in the heart of Monrovia, Liberia, a small group of women gathered over the course of a few days to talk about their hopes for themselves and the other women in their neighborhoods. The phrase they repeated over and over was “become somebody.”  The Camp Fire was the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history. The Oroville Church of the Nazarene became an emergency shelter for several weeks, operated by the Red Cross and staffed with volunteers from the church.
