For many of us, the more we care for and nurture children—either as a parent, teacher or a caring ad*lt—the more we recognize the impact that having stable ad*lt role models has on a young persons life. May is the National Foster Care month, a time set apart to focus on the present and future of the 400,000 youth in our country currently in our foster care system. For these young people, stability is not a given.
