On Monday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) announced that it had located the owner of the car that the Jaish-e Mohammed (JeM) militant used in the Pulwama attack on the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldiers on 14th February. The attack took the lives of more than forty jawans while another five were injured in the dreadful attack, according to reports. A report says that following the Pulwama attack, the vehicle owner has joined the Jaish-e Mohammed outfit in Jammu and Kashmir. An NIA spokesperson in one of the statements mentioned that the agency was somehow able to piece together remnants of the vehicle and there  “With the support of forensic and automobile experts, the NIA has been able to identify the vehicle used for the blast,” the spokesman The National Investigation Agency in one of the statements mentioned that Muhammad Jaleel Ahmed Haqani, a resident of Heaven Colony, Anantnag, purchased a Maruti Suzuki Eeco vehicle, with chas*is number MA3ERLF1S- OO183735 and engine number G12BN164140 in 2011. Since then the vehicle was further sold seven times and Sajjad Bhat, son of Muhammad Maqbool Bhat, a resident of Bijbehara, Anantnag, was the last owner of the vehicle. Bhat, who purchased the car on February 4, 2019, was a student of the Siraj-ul-Uloom in Shopian, the statement read. Following the attack, NIA officials raided Bhat’s house on February 23. “However, Sajjad was not found and had been evading arrest since then. He has reportedly now joined the JeM,” said the NIA. Also, Bhat can be seen in one of the social media posts holding a pistol and a gun in his hands. The picture which has not been officially confirmed identified him as Hafiz Sajad Bhat alias Afzal Guru. The image also claimed that Bhat is part of a JeM fidayeen NEW DELHI: On Friday, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that India will now work on all the options, whether diplomatic or otherwise to win the fight against Pakistan following the Pulwama terror attack.
