My name is Nikken Daniels. I grew up in the small town of Carbondale, CO. I spent my childhood skiing, hiking, camping and mountain biking until I was introduced to climbing when I was around 10- and it's been my love ever since. After graduating from high school at the Colorado Rocky Mountain School, deciding that I wasn't quite ready for studying yet, I moved to Stockholm, Sweden where I met Eric Karlsson, from there he asked me to join him in starting what would become Eric Karlsson Bouldering. After almost two years of living and working in Sweden, decided that it was time for something new, and having the opportunity to move to Maui that's where I am now :) Originally this was just going to be a platform for me to have a place to share my tips and experiences for climbing and climbing-specific training (by all means not an expert, but I like to think after 10 years I know a thing or two). However, has since expanded to include cooking, music, general explorations, and just about anything else that I'm currently enjoying in life. Enjoy :)  Music is a big part of my life. As most people that know me can attest to, I almost always have music in some form playing. Whether it be cranking the tunes for a ​climbing session, jamming out on the ski slopes, or relaxing at the beach, this is what I'm listening to ​right now :) You know that song that you play on repeat again, ​and again, and again?
