Dr. David Arkin started NAED as a solo practice back in 1989 and over the years as the demand for our services increased we have grown to six physicians who are all board certified Endocrinologists. In addition, our physicians are supported by a team of midlevel providers consisting of a Physician’s As*istant, 3 Nurse Practitioners (one being a certified Diabetes Educator) and a Dietician. Our Diabetes Education Program has been recognized by the American Diabetes As*ociation as meeting national standards for Diabetes Self -Management Education. All of our providers are participating members of the American Diabetes As*ociation as well as the American As*ociation of Clinical Endocrinologists and The Endocrine Society. We look forward to helping you feel better. We are a specialty practice that utilizes a teamwork approach to your care. As a patient, you may not see your physician at every visit as that our patients continue to see their Primary Care Physician for problems not related to our specialty. Even though we are the largest Endocrinology practice in North Georgia, we strive to give our patients individual attention.
