next nbn event : 4th monday – happy hour cause – dyslexia awareness month. welcome to north beach networking – maryland business networking events in north beach. we hold events primarily at ketch 22 restaurant in north beach, maryland.  anyone business person located in, or serving clients in, north beach, md and southern maryland is invited to join our business networking group.  there is no cost most events.  just show up and introduce yourself and see what business opportunities evolve from networking in the real world with real people! every 2nd thursday, we host a luncheon at ketch 22.  at these meeting there is “pas* the mic” at the start where everyone gets to introduce themselves to the group.  we video this event, and then post clips of the best “introductions” to our youtu*e channel.  after the “pas* the mic” a guest speaker presents on topic(s) the group voted on at previous meetings.  after the guest speaker, we vote on future topics of interest to the group and ask for volunteers to be guest speakers.  to be a guest speaker, we prefer to choose every 4th monday of the month we host a “happy hour cause”.  as the name suggests, the event occurs at “happy hour” at ketch 22 which is 4pm – 6pm.  these casual events encourage “socializing” with people and developing personal business relationships.  typically, there will be a “cause” speaker.  the speaker will represent the “cause” that 10% of the night proceeds of “happy hour” will be donated to. the events are ideal for north beach members who cannot make the luncheons, and a great way to help worthy, non-political, causes in and around the north beach community. to see our schedule and to join our community, visit our facebook page and join our group.
