If you’re reading this blog after this coming Monday, this post here is probably the only thing you’re seeing due to Tumblr deciding to nu*es, that’s it). But when close to a majority of your users are there for the p*rn… well, only on the internet do you find companies that say “Oh, half our customers? We don’t need those.” And the thing is, it was all brought about by the stupidest thing. There was illegal content involving minors, and it got the app pulled. That’s good, and that kind of sh*t needs to be taken out with extreme prejudice. But a blanket ban on all ad*lt content is incredibly stupid. You know what they needed to actually do? Fu*king moderate their content. To bring up DeviantArt again, they will blow you the hell out of the water if you post something against their guidelines.
