We'll rest at the top and try to catch the beginning of the sunset before we head back down. Join Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) and the Sunnyvale Public Library for a free screening of the entertaining and inspiring Join Peninsula Open Space Trust for a beautiful and easy sunset hike at Pillar Point Bluff just north of Half Moon Bay! You will be guided by a POST representative that will share details about the area's interesting natural history, from the coastal scrub habitat to the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve that hosts tide pools and breeding grounds for harbor seals. Join POST on a beautiful, 7.2-mile walk along the Cowell-Purisima Trail that POST helped to create by protecting adjacent fa*mland. After walking most of the 3.6-mile bluff top trail, we'll turn around to catch the sunset on the way back.
