Panama Wildlife Conservation is an organisation dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity, an*mal species and their habitats, through the collaboration with local residents and organisations in Panama. Jaguars are under extreme peril due to the risk that climate change poses to their habitat, as well as from conflicts with local fa*mers. The Harlequin frog is considered to be a critically endangered species and has been listed as being at risk of extinction in Panama. Alarmingly low numbers of sea turtles suggest that the species will not survive without coordinated monitoring and other programs. Trail cameras have become an increasingly popular tool for viewing wildlife, and are used to study activity and an*mal behaviour. To promote the conservation of wildlife, its natural habitat throughout the geographical range of each species, as well as its peaceful coexistence with man, through research and conservation strategies. The World Plan  for  the  conservation  of  amphibians  highlights  the need for research  in  populations  of  amphibians  that  are  critically endangered,  especially   in   populations   that  persist   even  though Chitridiomycosis is present.
