Ladies and Gentlemen, Happy New Year!  Welcome back.  It's a new semester, which means a writing (in clas*) this semester so make sure you have some good pens to write with. (DBQ here we come!) We begin this semester with the French Revolution and the changes to the old order.  By April we will need to cover content up through the European Union and (hopefully) the Brexit vote.
