It’s a very attractive race course with good facilities and a great view of the action. I just wish I’d had a few What a great day out at Plumpton Races, the staff were so friendly, facilities were great and lunch in the Marquee was excellent! Highly recommend for a great day out for the whole family. Thank you to everyone for making a super day out for my 90 year old father and We had not been to this racecourse before but have been to a number of racecourses in England. Easy to get around, good facilities, food outlets were reasonable and a free racecard was a nice surprise. Would come back. Always a pleasure to attend this friendly little racecourse. Unusually for a racecourse it serves decent ale for starters. There’s always a great ambience too and brecause it is compact there is never far too walk between grandstand, paddock, bookies, bar, tote etc. Got our tickets in advance with no booking fee and could collect them on the day, also no charge. 7 races in total – spaced apx half an Train station is on the course and is only 55 min from London Victoria. Very nice parade ring with unrestricted viewing of the horses. Also had food and drink from Plumpton’s on site bars and food from on site vendors – good value & good hot food. Had such a good day at the races, the staff were so friendly and welcoming which made it more enjoyable. I’d never been to the races before but I would definitely go again after here and I recommend as a great day out!
