2004 s 1st st, austin, tx 78704open everyday 7 am – 11 pm. austin’s own 78704. come by and visit us. we are famous for our salsa bar, great authentic mexican food, and tasty drinks. the best tasting enchiladas i ever had. polvos is now my go to restaurant for mexican food. i highly recommend coming here. keep in mind, there is limited parking and it gets crowded, but worth the trip. i love this place! the food is on point and the music makes you want to get up and dance. if your looking for a relax setting with good this isn’t your same ol tex mex. the food here is uniquely delicious. one of my favorite mexican food spots in town. the salsa is incredible, great food options, and awesome for pitchers of the beef guajillo fajitas are so so delicious, best thing on the menu. fun place to go with friends and get a pitcher of margaritas! polvos has consistently good service and simple, clean, tasty mexican fare. we dine here regularly for the unlimited salsa bar, frozen margaritas, and large portions. never feel sluggish or heavy after gorging on what are very generous plates. polvos greets you with a sign that says “i love you” and then shows you love on the inside with quality interior mexican food, big and strong margaritas, and a salsa bar with about 15 different varieties of goodness. we love you too, polvos.
