PopFest is an annual Population Studies conference organised by PhD students for PhD students, with the aim to bring together researchers from different Social Science disciplines such as Demography, Human Geography, Social Statistics, Public Health, Social Policy, International Development, Sociology, Economics, Anthropology, Gender Studies, Urban and Landscape Planning, Politics and other related PopFest provides a supportive, international environment for postgraduate students to present and discuss their work, chair Theoretical as well as empirical papers include, but are not limited to, the following topics: families, fertility, se*ual and reproductive health, internal and international migration, mobility, ageing, life course, inequality, health, historical demography, mortality, and Hosted by the Department of Social Policy at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in as*ociation with The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). PopFest will be hosted at LSE for the first time in 10 years. Organised in conjunction with the British Society for Population Studies (BSPS).
