Our goal is to expand the spectrum of exhibiting international artists from the African Diaspora and emerging markets. Our mission is to promote the work of artists from Africa and global African Diaspora, who reflect global trends in contemporary art.  Workshops and special events are organized throughout the year to advance critical dialogue and sharpen the lens through which we view and understand contemporary art. We are committed to the Miami cultural community and will work to expand its visual arts landscape, nurture and educate its constituents and provide forums for cross cultural exchange. highlight the diversity evident in contemporary visual art practices today, including painting sculpture and mixed media installations. Additionally, PRIZM will feature the work of emerging Miami-based contemporary artists.  These artists redefine their world and bring into focus socio-political and cultural issues pertinent to the people of African descent in Miami and beyond. The select artists are actively engaged in perpetuating Miami’s growth as a cultural hub.   conversations & film screenings presented by leading thinkers and practitioners in contemporary African and African diaspora art. Challenging conventional modes of artmaking, performance art has long been a medium within which artist can utilize a different format to alternative mode of arts practice with works presented artists from African and the African Diaspora.  To herald in the beginning of Prizm Art Fair during Miami Art Week,  Prizm hosts our signature dinner event, Prizm Preview Prizm presents a Fair reflective of the diversity of narratives and perspective resonating from global African & African Diapsora art.
