USAID Promote’s Women in Government (WIG) has enrolled 3,901 educated Afghan women in a year-long internship program to prepare them for careers in civil service. WIG covers the provinces of Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Kandahar, and Nangarhar. interns are ready to work in various capacities in government after their graduation.
