The team comprising of Scott Gilmour, Mike Stevenson, and Rob Trigwell set a new time of 12 days, 21 hours and 13 minutes. In 2019 north-west​ coast of Scotland, Philip learned the skills that would eventually take him to the North and South poles. In 2004 he worked in the High Canadian Arctic (Nunavut) helping to organise a race to the magnetic North pole. Doing this for many years and being part of two BBC TV productions in the north – The Challenge series 2004, Top Gear 2007. Amundsen – This was aired in 2009 on the BBC and was called On Thin Ice. After leaving the High Canadian Arctic job, Philip set up his own company and took 3 city boys to the Geographic North pole in 2013, breaking an unofficial world record for the fastest team to the north In 2012 Philip co-founded The Spine Race which is a 268-mile foot race along the full length of the Pennine way in winter, having 7 days to do the distance, it has become one of the toughest races out there. Also started taking clients out to Arctic Sweden on a tour through the wilderness pas*ing through some of the most amazing landscape on our planet. Soon to be setting up another race in Sweden Philip is always Philip also, when not working in the cold finds time to work for a charity-based company in London, he has found himself working on mas* participation events in the UK such as the London to Brighton challenge and working further afield in Iceland, Climbing Mt Etna and taking people up Kilimanjaro in Africa. Philip also works in the corporate world organising events, coaching axe throwing amongst other things and delivering teambuilding challenges in the Cotswolds.
