The Ramsbottom Music Festival has been held in March every year for over 25 years - it is open to am*teur musicians of all ages and The Festival provides a relaxed atmosphere, amongst friendly surroundings, for anyone with an interest in playing their musical We encourage players of all ages and standards, on as wide a variety of instruments as possible, to come along and entertain their friends, families and other participants, as well as gaining experience of playing in front of skilled, professional adjudicators and maybe even the chance of winning one of the many category prizes that we have. The 2019 Festival will take place on the 15th March for schools and the 16th March for instrumental & vocal entries. You will see on our 'paperwork and do*nloads' page that we have what we describe as our Syllabus - this shows all of the clas*es that we have on offer, but if you aren't sure where your interest fits, contact us and we'll help you out. All of the performances are attended by one of our adjudicators, drawn from some of the best and most committed musical afficionados in the country. Our performers always find their comments and observations encouraging and helpful - what better way to improve your skills and demonstrate your competence than to come along.
