I always liked the old, heavily battered books. The tatteredness of the book speaks of its high demand, and old age speaks about the ever-valuable content. Everything said above concerns technical literature to a greater extent. Only technical literature contains the great and useful information that is not subject to political trends, fashion or mood! Only technical literature requires truly great efforts and knowledge from its author. Sometimes it takes the experience of a lifetime to write a small and seemingly nondescript book. Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever in this world, books are chattering, falling apart into separate sheets, which are then torn to shreds and go nowhere. Plus, the hordes of barbarians, who do not care what to throw in the fire or how to wipe your as*. It is them that we can thank for the burned and crushed libraries. If you have an old book or magazine, then don't let them die, scan them and send them to me. Together we can create a truly unique and valuable collection of old technical books and magazines.
