Located at the southern base of the Shenandoah Valley, our school system serves about 2,500 students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The mission of Rockbridge County Public Schools is to prepare every student to succeed and to contribute to a better world. We strive to develop and unleash the powers of every student’s mind. The next regular monthly meeting of the Rockbridge County School Board will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 5:00pm.   The meeting will be held at the County of Rockbridge Administration Building, 150 South Main St., Lexington, VA 24450. School board agendas and other ancillary docu*ents are available through the Rockbridge County Schools BoardDocs Site three days prior to the school board meeting. In correlation to VSBA Take Your Legislator to School Month, there will be a called meeting of the Rockbridge County School Board on December 7, 2018 beginning at 11:30 AM for the purpose of a brief tour of the Rockbridge County High School facilities with Senator Creigh Deeds.  The group will meet at Rockbridge County High School, 143 Greenhouse Road, Lexington, VA.
