hey everyone!! I had a longer post in mind but tumblr wouldn’t let me send it….since lots of people are leaving tumblr heres where to i’d appreciate if u’d rb this since my tumblr has been dying for a while….i have over 10k followers but i hardly seem to scratch 1k notes…idk if thats lack of interest or tumblrs algorithims but pls if u can rt this and follow me elsewhere to see my art more like notice how nowhere in that lil staff update did they mention getting rid of nazi or white supremacist content. they still get to keep theyre racist and neofascist userbase while appearing to do something useful I think we can acknowledge how this move will hurt se* workers while also liking the taking down of material that’s harmful for kids? It’s too dismissive to just say “ho*ny people have no rights” as se* workers will and have been hurt by tumblrs clumsy as* implementation but also it was wild that 15 year olds were sharing posts in how to report child p*rn. The real solution was to have better tagging, a nsfw system that actually worked and for them to aggressively tackle cases of child p*rn, pe*ophilies and their communities which could have been done with months woth of site infrastructure revamping. Instead they had a few weeks to do something to get back in the App Store. We can acknowledge the people who were screwed over and endangered. It’s important to protecting se*workers. There are many blogs on here that don’t care about se* workers and don’t care they their livelihood is in jeopardy and just care that they can’t look at he*tai anymore. Y’all shouldn’t be rallying with those people who only care about access to p*rn no matter ehat(he*tai blogs with na*ed images of 14 yo characters are reblogging thise posts) and everyone needs to be better allies and uplift the voices of se* workers and I think we can do both(listen to se* workers and not let their legitimate concerns be co-opted by people who only care about looking at Sheith p*rn)
