Hello, my name is Sam Trenholme. I am a widower, single parent, and professional software developer. I enjoy using technology to solve real-world problems. I am in a new contract-to-hire position working closely with Amazon Lambda and other AWS technologies. In my previous brief contract with Intuit, I was working on testing and automated deployment of software-as-a-service (SaaS) programs, using Ansible, Terraform, and Chef. Before that, I was working with Docker, AWS, and Jenkins to implement a testing and continuous integration framework for a web application. I also have helped develop a dynamically generated web site, its Python back end REST interface, and maintained do not believe in buzzwords; as a skilled software developer I quickly adapt to new technologies as new sources of revenue. That said, some technologies I have worked with recently are Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Ja*ascript, DOM, Ajax, REST, jQuery, JSON, XML, CSS, HTML, PHP, Perl, Python, Linux, Windows 7, OS virtualization, UNIX shell scripting, C, Apache, nginx, FastCGI, cloud computing, and so on.
