Graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Law in 1997, and master's degree in Başkent University, Institute of Social Sciences, Private Law. He is a lecturer at Anadolu University Faculty of Law. Şamil Demir has been working as a self-employed lawyer registered to the Ankara Bar As*ociation since 1998. He is a registered mediator in the Mediation Register of the Ministry of Justice since 14.11.2013.
