A Salute to Teachers is the premier teacher recognition event held in honor of teachers countywide. Operation Recognition awards high school diplomas to qualifying U.S. veterans who were unable to continue high school due to World War II, the Korean War, or the Vietnam War, as well as individuals who left high school due to internment in World War II relocation camps.
