Jenny, 31, somehow lost my mind being obsessed with Robron back around the second hotel scene, graphic designer, NYC, my main blog is @Facelessfrey so if you see that blog like things and follow you, that's me.. I think Aaron was very much in character with Robert. Aaron has been to prison and knows how tough it is and he was just scared that Robert will be taken away from him. I saw some posts about Aaron not caring about Robert which is the most absurd thing ever. I don’t think anyone thinks that Aaron doesn’t care about Robert. I think sometimes people just wish the writers would balance out some of Aaron’s reactions a bit sometimes. I don’t think it’s really about Aaron at all, at least that’s not the impression I got from posts I read, more about the writing and nuance and such. Sometimes Aaron can just be written in a bit of a one note gruff manner and not And again, I said this in my other post, but we don’t know how long this story may go and how much opportunity they will have for other emotions and balance and such. People are reacting to what they’re seeing now and they miss some of that softness and warmth even if this sort of panicked and lashing out, angrier Aaron is completely in character. Tomorrow, who knows, we might get clingy Aaron being all ‘Robert I’m scared to lose you and I’m scared you won’t be able to handle prison’ instead of gruff angry Aaron. We just don’t know. I feel like sometimes when people criticize it’s because that’s what they’d like to see eventually and that’s how they express it. Less that they just don’t think Aaron cares about Robert enough. I know everyone is angry at Aaron but I am just glad to see that Aaron has some of his fire back with all this Billy stuff. Over the last year or two Aaron has been pretty diluted and bar the Seb leaving scenes, he just seems to be in the background and not having any reactions to anything. I think he has become a bit boring and I am glad to see a bit of personality again.
