Everyone knows the best part about going to a coffee shop is getting a muffin on the side and let’s be real everyone REALLY wants the double chocolate muffin flavor. This recipe let’s you bring those muffins home where its more than acceptable to eat more than one. Today is such a beautiful day outside and it reminds me that spring is finally coming. We moved to our new home about a year ago and the previous owner planted a ton of these bright yellow beautiful daffodils. The color is such a vivid yellow and it reminds me of these They have the best, bu*tery crust underneath a bright, sweet lemon flavor and the filling is just perfectly set. I brought these lemon bars to work and they lasted about 3 days! I also only have a group of about 10, so that is really saying how great these lemon bars really I’ve been in such a citrus mood this winter, partially because of all these beautiful pictures everyone is posting with these vibrant yellows and oranges! So I thought I should join in on this wintery trend and make these orange shortbread cookies. I’m obsessed with the combination of orange and chocolate and just knew these were going to be a winner. For some reason I keep buying all these oats and never using them!! So, while digging through my pantry and trying to decide what recipe to tackle next, I spotted the oats. Done. Homemade granola! These snickerdoodle cookies are crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside with a heavy dose of cinnamon goodness. This was one of the first recipes I created myself, which for me is HUGE. I’ve always loved baking, but never really took the time to dive into recipe development. It has a lot of challenges, but it already has been so much more rewarding.
