I am an economist and data scientist focusing on the application of economic an*lysis and predictive an*lytics to problems in the private related to economics, politics, and technology. I have previously worked as an academic researcher. First at the University of Copenhagen where I designed and taught the first data science course at the Faculty of Social Sciences. Aftwerwards, I worked as a researcher in the Government Department at the London School of Economics and Political Science. I hold a BSc, MSc, and PhD in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, and an MSc in Political Economy from the London School of Economics. I was also a Fulbright scholar at New York University, earning an MA in International Business and Politics. I have taught data science from a social science perspective at the BSc, MSc, and PhD level at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Copenhagen. Topics include web scraping, data visualization, reproducability tools, and statistical techniques for prediction and clas*ification. The course material is open source and can be seen below.
