This initiative is asking us to challenge our views of what education looks like today and what it could look like in the future. This initiative will clarify the issues facing education today, imagine what the future might look like and plan how to make the vision a reality. Five broad themes have been identified for discussion:  the purpose of education, the educated person, school community relationships, education decision making and responsibility for education in Saskatchewan.  To participate in the survey, click on the link below. The Seven Sacred Teachings are an important part of the values of many indigenous people. These teachings are important to indigenous people and to us because they teach us how to live together peacefully. On December 14, our Haig Hero Teams met for this month’s Significant 72 activity.  We focused on the third sacred teaching: Respect.  Students made an art piece to honour the life of the Pangman School Grade K-9 students presented The Nutcracker Prince on December 13th for their holiday production.  Our students took families and friends on an adventure to the Land of the Sweets where they battled mice and the Rat King to save the gingerbread castle.  They performed in front of a packed house.  The SCC hosted a social afterward providing homemade dainties and hot chocolate for everyone!  It was an excellent evening!  Happy Holidays from Pangman School!
