Fate decided for us, crossing our paths at the moment when our beloved children came to the world with congenital heart defects. Searching for their help, a chance to live, we came to the Children's University Hospital in Krakow - Prokocim> We all trusted outstanding specialists - doctors and nurses - from the Department of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery> Children who gave us hope not only that our> children will be alive but also that they will laugh, the idea of ​​founding the As*ociation of Parents of Children with Congenital Heart Defects at USD in Krakow - Prokocim Hearts from the need of heart, gratitude and the feeling that the simple word thank you is not enough. We want to speak aloud about our hospital - our second home, with world-renowned specialists who save lives of our children, wonderful doctors and nurses, who with great determination fight for the life of every tiny sick heart, modern medicine, innovative treatment methods. We want to domesticate the hospital, make the stay of children in the hospital walls more pleasant, because they often spend long weeks or even months of their lives in them. We want to support other parents - those who are only at the beginning of this difficult path; we want to give them advice, support, a good word, cheer! We want to support charity campaigns that collect money for the needs of the Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Clinic, for new equipment, because we know how great role it plays b) support, by organizing charity campaigns, children with congenital heart defects staying in the cardiology department, and c) initiating, support and as*istance in various educational and cultural activities for children
