Title: | Severed Cinema - Horror Movie Reviews, Cult, Obscure Movie Reviews, News, Interviews, Screenshots, DVD, VHS, Blu-ray and More - Severed Cinema
Description: | Severed Cinema is a Horror movie review, news, and interview driven website dedicated to cult and obscure Horror cinema from around the world., Come one, come all, boys and into the Circus of the Dead, a low budget which gives out clown fear by the shovel full., Joel M. Reed excels as Uncle Joe in Dead Eye, this broken down to basics tension mounting underground film by Louis Affortunato. Aside from the worst falling moment in cinematic history, Joel nails the brutal and arrogant old bastard to a tee., What can I say about an upcoming production which is described as Magic Mike meets Carrie? Well, I can kind of guess the contents of the script because I reviewed George Nevada's previous mad sandwich, Scarecrowd (see review here). Along with Severed Cinema regular, Domiziano Cristopharo (he of the infamous House of Flesh Mannequins, etcetera), his upcoming mind be called Jack the St. Ripper., He is misunderstood in his home country, but loved by many around the world on the underground extreme circuit. Domiziano Cristopharo is an Italian filmmaker, amongst many other things, who doesn't shy from bringing shocking images to the screens. Yet to take on board his films as just a form of graphic gore entertainment is incorrect. His work comes over with a lot of finesse and style. They are rather dream like in quality. There is so much happening in the depths below the surface you can see. This is the chap behind such titles as Doll Syndrome, Bloody Sin, Red Krokodil, and many more., Women's Flesh: My Red Guts has that nastier edge and proudly has no readable credits available so many may question whether what they are seeing is real or fake., The She for a recent pic, has that feel to it for the most part. It's trash but it has fun without being too over-the-top jokey at itself., Ivy (which is currently doing the festival circuit and holds a fair few awards) is the first more direct horror by Itai, and since he's full on together his first feature film, which is also a horror, hopefully it will be his direction for the future cause he's certainly a man with storytelling skills., Joe Bob Briggs breaks the internet causing crash!, People remember GG Allin as a violent, racist, piss drinking, hard supping, madman who slurred and screamed his way through so many badly recorded albums and singles., What more do you want as you cuddle up to your partner whilst supping beer and eating pizza? Goregasm delivers you blood, loud music, curse words, cheap visuals, and a crappy sense of humour., Domiziano Cristopharo hardly needs an introduction to Severed regulars, having found many of his works under the all-seeing Creepy Eye microscope, not to mention articles and a lengthy interview. Thus we find ourselves dissecting his latest creation, Xpiation., Last Trip looks so fresh and clear, and it has fun elements., Severed Cinema DVD review of the do Blank City on DVD from E2 Films., Los Angeles has a slick and sleazy feel to it from the beginning. Come on, judging by the title, what else could we expect?, Arrow Films don't know when to stop. Since we last did a little round-up release on them, so much has happened behind their scenes. They have a record distribution line now!!!, Vinegar Syndrome are one of those labels that simply specialise in special titles., Some Upcoming Cult Titles from 88 Films., Think Croatia, Serbia, places around there and horror flicks, you think that of a certain Serbian gets a lot of people talking. Think the effects guy, Miroslav Lakobrija, and you also think of that certain Serbian So, onto his latest gem, Phantoms of the Fog. Cue a mandatory super cool soundtrack which instantly transports you back to those incredible years when the Italians ruled the horror genre, We've had a run of anthology flicks over the last few years, however we haven't had a 'gorethology' yet..., Review of God's Kingdom, My Day of Violence with Darren Ward and Beyond Fury. By Jay Creepy., Review of Bonehill Road from Wild Eye Releasing on Severed Cinema. Written by Jay Creepy.
