Beginning January 2, collections will be delayed one day with all routes being completed by Saturday, January 5. Scale houses resume standard hours on Wednesday, January 2. The St. Johns Golf Club, 4900 Cypress Links Blvd., is currently in the process of a potential Master Plan update that would include repairing, replacing, and updating various aspects of the golf course. St. Johns County released a Request for Proposals (RFP) in November to determine market interest in a potential partnership to utilize excess land within the golf course in exchange for the renovations. An RFP evaluation committee ranked the two qualified proposals during a public meeting on December 20, 2018 and a Letter of Intent was issued The Board of County Commissioners is tentatively scheduled to consider an item on its January 15, 2019 consent agenda that would include a recommendation authorizing staff to negotiate a contract with the most qualified applicant. The negotiated contract would then be presented to the Board of County Commissioners for consideration and action at a future public hearing.
