Students will be released early on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The students will follow the Friday early day schedule. Report cards will be given to students on Wednesday, November 28th. Teachers will be available to meet with parents on Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00pm. - 3:00pm to address any concerns. Parents of students with failing grades will be contacted by the teacher of record. Our 2018 Basketball Tournament of Champions starts Wednesday at 2:30pm and ends Saturday evening with a basketball tournament winner. Your support is needed and we look forward to seeing you. Senior students are scheduled to take a practice LEAP 2025 US History test this week. Sophomore and Junior students are scheduled to take a practice ACT test this week. Both test are mandated by the state and the students must score a pas*ing score on both according to the state's accountability guidelines. Please check Power School daily to monitor the attendance and progress Sophie B. Wright will not have school on November 6, 2018. We are encouraging all students and parents to vote on election day. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters must present a photo ID with name and signature, or they can provide a paycheck, utility bill, or another government docu*ent including name and address, in addition to signing an affidavit.
