We warmly welcome you to the home of Southport Music Festival. The 2018 Festival was most successful and in 2019 the Festival will follow a very similar format and in the same location – Greenbank We are looking for a volunteer to be the As*istant Secretary. The plan is for the person to shadow the current Secretary for the 2019 Festival and all being well to become Secretary for the 2020 Festival – at which time the current Secretary would become the as*istant. The person we seek will probably be newly retired or will be not working full time and will be looking to ‘put something back’ into the community. Some rudimentary I.T. skills would be an as*et but there is no need to be a music or speech and drama expert as we have such skills already available. Workload is almost nil for most of the year but peaks in October. We estimate that a total of 17 days per year are required – January -1, February -1 ,  July – 2, August – 3, September – 3, October – 6, November -1. You would be working with other volunteers to deliver this important community event – it is immensely satisfying!
