My wife and I began an outreach ministry in our local community. We went into nursing homes, youth centers and schools with our message of evangelism and hope in Christ. We saw over a hundred people come to Christ and receive eternal salvation in that first year. Then, when we first came under fire in spiritual warfare, we had absolutely no idea what was going on. Every area of our lives just turned to hell overnight. We had no idea where to go for help. Clergy we confided in were not of much value. They generally helped for a while, and then withdrew and avoided us. This living nightmare went on for five solid years without a break, as things progressed from bad to worse. I went from being an executive for a respected international financial firm earning a six figure income as the manger of a technology department for an international financial firm, to now drowning in debt and swimming in bills with almost no income. I contracted an incurable autoimmune disease (Lupus), and the physical suffering grew worse and worse as the body begins to attack itself. I went to see the top Rheumatologist at our largest local hospital, and he said based on the acceleration of the Lupus symptoms that I had about five years left to live. The symptoms of disease grew worse and worse and sickness prevailed as my health continued deteriorating. Strange symptoms popped up, such as extreme electrolyte imbalance that would cause agonizing headaches on a regular basis.
