Birmingham, AL at 4291 Sicard Hollow Road. This venue is one of Birmingham’s hidden treasures. Swann Lake Stables is an equestrian facility built in 2004 by the current owners. There are two barns available for boarding horses, horseback riding lessons , English Dressage, Hunter Jumper,  Western and more. There are miles of forest trails along the beautiful Little Cahaba River that are available for boarders and those just wanting to come and spend a day. Horses are available for riding lessons for beginners to medium level riders in the arena .We are open to using our faculty and horses for handicapped as*isted riding therapy (the Exceptional Foundation ) and Swann Lake Stables is also available for a limited number of weddings, rehersal dinners and corporate events. The property is resting on acres of land while located near restaurants, shopping and hotels, Swann Lake gives you the feel of the country and the convenience of the city. The upper barn features 4 rustic stalls, an indoor balcony, grand room with built in bar area with iron chandelier, a stone patio that wraps completely around one side of the stables with a grand stone fireplace and a huge manicured gras* lawn. The property also has various outdoor options for event photos along the beautiful Little Cahaba River. Swann Lake is a private residence and can be toured in person BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. The property was originally owned by the famous Theodore Swann, a local business man in Birmingham, AL that struck it rich in the 1920s and also built the Swann House (aka Swann Castle) at the base of Red Mountain.
