The new consistory of the University of Tampere has nominated the first board of the university yesterday. The new University of Tampere and the Tampere University of Technology will start their operations on 1 January 2019 and will form a jointly with Tampere University of Applied Sciences, the most diverse university community in Finland, with technology, health and society at the forefront of the research.
