Tara Fa*m Rescue was started in 1982 as a safe place for unwanted horses. Through hard work, determination, and dedicated volunteer workers, the fa*m has grown and expanded to house cows, pigs, donkeys, llamas, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats. When an*mals arrive here at Tara Fa*m, they are often not in great health and require veterinary attention. Our job is to make sure these an*mals get the medicine, care, and love they need to get back to good health and go to forever homes. We also offer boarding, education, and party services in the pursuit of taking care of these an*mals, many of which are too old or sick or be adopted Tara Fa*m Rescue relies on the dedication of our all-volunteer staff, the generosity of our donors, and the vision of our founder, BonnieJeanne Gordon, to make a huge difference in the lives of those who cannot speak for themselves. Our mission is to simply provide love and care to creatures often denied both, and we can always use donations or volunteers, so please Tara Fa*m Rescue relies on donations of money, food, medicine, and an*mal services in order to maintain a healthy level of care for our an*mal residents. It costs $6,200 a year to care for a single horse, and Tara Fa*m is home to many other an*mals as well. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit , meaning your donations are tax deductible. Tara Fa*m is a non-profit as*ociation run entirely by volunteers. We are always looking for new helpers, whether it's mucking stalls, rider training, or help with the general upkeep of our 54 acre fa*m.
