i’m going to start a blog. hurrah. another water drop in a never ending ocean of blogs. however, this is a labor of love and pas*ion. (i guess now would be a good time to explain few blog conventions that i’ll use. first, anything bolded is a key point i want to get across. everything is important, but for those high d’s out there (disc profilers will understand) who just want the important stuff and not the poetic filler, the bold is for you. second, i intend to use internal dialogue for comedic relief. (i’m looking at you, high i’s). my brain can get pretty dark. humor helps. i have come to the gripping realization that the world is at once the most beautiful and the most terrifying being to my own existence. the. same earth that grows the most delicate flower is the same earth that has tectonic plates that smash together and create city destroying earthquakes. i have come to realize that the same species who literally eradicated diseases and got several women and men to the moon are the same species who are quickly depleting our natural resources and will bring our world into irreversible destruction. endless nights i’ve laid awake trying to wade through my despair. now it’s time to climb out of the pit. i wasn’t sure where to start, but my therapist suggested i write it all down. once my thoughts are organized, he suggested, i can begin the action phase of and just…. my life. i know i am only one person, and i know that i cannot do it all, but i would like to try. slowly but surely. so often i’m the hare in the race, but this time i’ll try and be the tortus. my blog will be riddled with sarcasm. it will be riddled with despair. but it will be riddled with hope.. exercise my gift of inspiring others to make life a little bit better. the goal of this blog is not to show you how perfect i am at being zero waste or being vegan. the goal of this blog is not to show you that’s what i’ve been sitting here contemplating. first, i’m gonna deliver this case to marsellus. then, basically, i’m gonna
