regaining your living room: bringing the kid’s playroom to their bedroom. a few weeks i received a lovely bundle of craft supplies from stampin’ up!. you may remember i was first introduced to them back handmade greeting cards, and papercrafting. they make products which inspire people to discover and share their creativity. i received stampin’ up’s! christmas card kit which included the making christmas bright photopolymer stamp set, clear block d, all is bright a4 cardstock pack, whisper white thick a4 cardstock, call me clover clas*ic stampin‘ pad, crushed curry clas*ic stampin‘ pad, real red clas*ic stampin‘ pad and stampin‘ dimensionals. these products had been carefully put together in order to make your this is a great starter set as i don’t have many card making supplies. glue and a cutting board were also included which i found really helpful. if you enjoy making your own handmade cards then you would probably be happy to experiment but i admit to being a little thankfully the product page had links to videos which i watched before i started making my cards. once i had watched them i decided to make one of the christmas cards so picked out the supplies i needed. i cut the card to the right size using the handy paper cutter, this also then i turned my attention to the stamp set, choosing what i needed and carefully placing them on the clear block. the ink pads meant i was able to apply the ink evenly. i used a variety of the stamps and coloured card to make my card, i loved the brightly coloured card and inks. i enjoyed following the instructions in the video to make my christmas card so experimented i was really pleased with the results. the ink dried quickly which meant i was able to build up the layers and see my cards come together you can purchase stampin’ up products via the website or a stampin’ up demonstration. you can also follow them on twitter, facebook, pinterest and youtu*e for inspiration and tutorials.
