A couple weekends ago we hosted a small holiday party that (if I’m being 100% honest) pretty much revolved around my obsession with wanting our friend Adam to play Santa Claus for Nova. We had decided early in the season that we weren’t up for the whole mall Santa experience, but we still wanted Nova to have a special moment- and what could be more special than Santa showing up at our own party? Long story short- she was scared for, like, four seconds and then obsessed with him and wouldn’t let him leave her sight. She even kept giving him random gifts from under our tree. Haha it was so sweet and a beautiful memory for all of us! These bucket lists keep me so motivated to make fun memories. I just realized I never shared all the things we did during the autumn season and so I thought I’d just share a quick recap. We packed in a LOT- even a quick “babymoon” for Nova to Disney. We wanted to make sure she got her own solo trip before we add another child to our family (again- we have no idea when that will happen!) and when we found some never knew how exhausting (for parents!) this kind of trip could be until it was our turn, but on a positive note Nova still talks about meeting Elsa and Anna (and the snowman, which technically did not happen- LOL) literally every day.
