The Old House is full of character with traditional old beams and brick walls dating back to the 16th century. It is gracefully furnished to provide excellent accommodation on both ground and first floor levels. All the spacious bedrooms have en-suite facilities. There is a large comfortable residents lounge and a large garden which stretches to the rear. A lovely but very short one night stay at this beautiful guest house. Nothing is too much trouble and such a friendly welcome from Hilary. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Salisbury especially if you enjoy a good breakfast with so much choice of fresh fruit and homemade me and my wife came across the old house back in 2005 after our honeymoon,we where given the number by tourist information centre.we have stayed there many times when we go down to wiltshire,the welcome we get is like being part of hilarys and patricks family.allrooms are avery high standard.patrick is very helpful with routes and directions,around the county,hope to be back before xmas alan and Hilary and her son Mark are the most excellent hosts of a guest house! The rooms are spacious, clean and elegant. The breakfast leaves no more to wish and you can enjoy the full service of Hilary
