Reggie Jackson Guard, Four seasons with Thunder (2011-15) 2,202 points scored Reggie Jackson was drafted 24th overall by the Thunder in 2011, with the franchise coming off of the high of winning the first (and second) ever playoff series in Oklahoma City. In 2010-11, OKC reached the Western Conference Finals only to run into a hot Dallas Mavericks team that went on to win the championship over LeBron Jamesu2018 Miami Heat. Jackson was a rookie when the Thunder took the next step and went to the Finals in 2012. He played sparingly, only appearing in in 45 games and averaging just 11.1 minutes per contest. His playing time increased a bit more the next season as he became one of the top scoring options off the bench for a team that won 60 games and earned the top seed in the West, but the Thunder were upset in the second round by Memphis. In Jacksonu2019s third and final full season in OKC, the Thunder won 59 games and again reached the Conference Finals. This time, Jackson was the top reserve guard, even starting 36 games due to injuries to both Russell Westbrook and Thabo Sefolosha and finishing the season third on the squad in minutes played. Jackson scored 13.1 points in 28.5 minutes per game in his peak season in OKC. During the 2014-15 campaign, he was traded to Detroit in a three-team deal that brought Enes Kanter to Oklahoma City from Utah, completing his Thunder career with 2,202 points scored. (Photo by Chris Covatta/Getty Images) 9 Thabo Sefolosha Guard/Forward, Six seasons with Thunder (2009-2014) 2,284 points scored Thabo Sefolosha began his career with Chicago when he was drafted 13th overall in 2006 by Philadelphia and dealt to the Bulls on draft night. He played sparingly as a rookie and was a regular member of the bench rotation in his second season. Midway through Year Three, Sefolosha was sent south to Oklahoma City in exchange for a first-round draft pick. (The selection was eventually Taj Gibson, so it wasnu2019t too bad of a deal for either side.) Sefolosha immediately stepped in as a starter for what had just become new head coach Scott Brooksu2019 team. After coming off the bench in his first game with the Thunder, Thabo started in every single one of the other 367 games he played in OKC over the course of five-plus seasons. Sefolosha averaged exactly one made 3-point basket per-game for the Thunder, shooting 35.3 percent from beyond the arc for his career in Oklahoma City. While he was never a scorer (his current 2017-18 scoring average of 8.2 points per game in Utah is his career-high to date), Sefoloshau2019s floor-spacing ability and outstanding defense were keys to the success that Oklahoma City saw under Brooks. He left via a sign-and-trade to Atlanta following the 2013-14 season. After three seasons with the Hawks, he joined the Utah Jazz in the summer of 2017. Enes Kanter only appeared in 180 games over two-plus seasons in Oklahoma City after arriving prior to the trade deadline from Utah in 2015. His Thunder tenure came to an end in the summer of 2017 after he was shipped to the New York Knicks, along with Doug McDermott and a second-round draft pick in exchange for Carmelo Anthony. Kanter has always been known as an all-offense, limited-defense center, and is anything but au00a0 rim-protector u2014 at least as far as 6u2032-11u2033 centers go. After the mid-season trade, Kanter started all 26 games for the Thunder, averaging 18.7 points in 31.1 minutes per game. During the 2015-16 campaign, however, Kanter came off the bench for all but one game and played just 21 minutes per contest. He still scored the rock, averaging 12.7 points per game with a 58.3 Effective Field Goal Percentage. His final year in Oklahoma City was eerily similar, although his scoring ticked upwards just a bit as he continued to be a key bench cog for another Thunder playoff team. Bernstein/NBAE via Getty Images) 7 James Harden Guard/Forward, Three seasons with Thunder (2010-12) 2,795 points scored James Harden is a multiple-time All-Star with the Houston Rockets and is widely regarded as a top-five scorer in the entire NBA, but he got his start as the third-overall draft selection of the Oklahoma City Thunder back in 2010. After three seasons largely spent as Oklahoma Cityu2019s top option off the bench, Harden was traded south to Houston in a controversial, cost-saving move that saved the Thunder from bumping up against the luxury tax as they chose to extend the contracts of Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and Serge Ibaka and send The Beard packing. But even in just three seasons in OKC at the start of his career, Harden managed to score 2,795 points while shooting 37 percent from beyond the arc and drawing free throws at an impressive rate. Even as a 20 to 22-year-old with the Thunder, Harden had a free throw rate of .503, meaning that for every field goal attempt, Harden shot just over a half of a free throw. And for a career 85.4 percent free throw shooter, those points add up in a hurry. Had Harden stayed in OKC, he would have rocketed his way up this list even further. But even still, seventh on a franchiseu2019s list while not playing for the team past the age of 22 isnu2019t anything to sneeze at. Butler/NBAE via Getty Images) 6 Nick Collison Forward/Center, Ten seasons in Oklahoma City (2008-present) 2,828 points scored Nick Collison was the 12th overall draft pick by the Seattle SuperSonics in 2005 and is now in his 14th season with the franchise and 10th in Oklahoma City. Collison was a starter for much of his time in Seattle and for about half of his first season in OKC back in 2008-09, but shifted to a vital bench role for the next six years or so until his minutes began to dwindle. Over the past couple of years, heu2019s effectively been the last man on the bench for Billy Donovanu2018s squad. In his heyday, Collison was a solid defensive big man who was a little undersized to play the u2018fiveu2019 but could chase u2018foursu2019 around the perimeter and still play solid defense in the paint. He was never much of an offensive threat but was decent in the pick-and-roll and could knock down a mid-range jumper well enough to keep defenses honest. Collison was an important part of the best stretch the Thunder have seen in Oklahoma City. That, combined with his longevity dating back to the franchiseu2019s days in Seattle, have cemented his legacy as an all-time member of the Thunder. After a rookie year in which Adams played in 81 games but averaged just 3.3 points on 2.3 shots per contest but posted a block rate of 3.9 percent, the umption seemed to have played out into reality. But Year Two brought 67 starts and a scoring average into double digits. And in every year since then, Adamsu2019 scoring has increased. His career field goal percentage of 58.2 includes two seasons north of 60 percent, and even with Paul George and Carmelo Anthony in the fold in 2017-18, his scoring average continues to climb. Adams signed a contract extension prior to the 2016-17 season and appears to be cemented as a key member of the Thunder roster moving forward. Donu2019t be surprised to see him continue his ascent up this list. After one year in Seattle u2014 alongside some rookie by the name of Kevin Durant u2014 Green headed to OKC when the franchise relocated. Green scored 838 points as a rookie SuperSonic, but then tallied 3,273 in Thunder blue and white over the next three seasons. He was a regular starter before being shipped u201cbacku201d to Boston, the team that officially drafted him, as part of the Kendrick Perkins trade prior to the deadline in 2011. That 2011 playoff run from the Thunder saw them end up in the Finals sans Green, of course, which forever tainted his reputation in Oklahoma City. After all, the team went on a Finals run and was a Western Conference contenderu00a0after jettisoning the fourth-highest scorer in franchise history mid-season. All told, however, Green was a regular starter and played extremely heavy minutes for the Thunder as the team was rapidly improving. He averaged 15.8 points per game in his two full seasons as a starter in OKC, taking advantage of carrying some of the scoring load alongside the painfully young duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. Green missed one full season due to a heart condition and after spending parts of four seasons in Boston has bounced to four teams in five seasons, failing to find a permanent NBA home. The next two seasons saw Ibaka force his way into the starting lineup, blocking 3.7 shots in just 27.2 minutes per game in his third year as a pro u2014 a block rate of a staggering 9.8 percent. The scoring developed, too, albeit not as quickly as the Thunder front office expected, given that Ibaka was seen as the third future star alongside Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook while James Harden was shipped off to Houston. Ibaka continued to be a solid regular for the Thunder through the 2015-16 season, averaging 11.6 points per game in an OKC uniform, including 13.8 points per game on 51.6 percent shooting in 303 starts over his last three seasons with the Thunder. Ibaka was traded to the Orlando Magic in the summer of 2016, and in turn was sent north of the border to the Raptors prior to the trade deadline of the 2016-17 season. Mandatory Copyright Notice: Copyright 2016 NBAE (Photo by Noah Graham/NBAE via Getty Images) 2 Kevin Durant Small Forward, Eight seasons in Oklahoma City (2008-16) 15,942 points scored First, letu2019s get the controversy out of the way: Yes, Kevin Durant would be No. 1 on the list if his 1,624 points scored as a rookie in a SuperSonics uniform counted, but u2026 those points are no good here. And without them, Durant falls back into second place. Durant played eight seasons in Oklahoma City and was remarkably durable, only suffering a serious injury once, in 2014-15, that limited him to 27 games. Other than that season, Durant only missed 24 of 558 potential games in the other seven campaigns. KD won five scoring titles in Oklahoma City and was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2013-14 season. He could have stayed and been the best and most beloved player in franchise history, but after a Western Conference Finals loss to the Golden State Warriors in 2016, Durant chose to join up with those Warriors after what was eventually a runner-up finish to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals. Durantu2019s decision was defensible, of course, but it absolutely altered his legacy among many Thunder fans, and only time will tell whether or not the damage was irreparable. And he took advantage of his solo stardom immediately, with a 2016-17 season for the ages. Westbrook became just the second player in NBA history to average a triple-double, and the first since the great Oscar Robertson achieved the feat back in 1961-62. Russ put up 31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 10.4 ists per game while leading the Durant-less Thunder to a 47-win season and the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference. OKC lost in five games to Houston, however, and the memorable season was over. But Westbrook was named the leagueu2019s MVP, joining Durant to give the Thunder two of the NBAu2019s previous four MVP award-winners. Westbrook has scored a whopping 16,455 points for the Thunder, only averaging below 22 points per game in the first two years of his 10-year career. With Paul George and Carmelo Anthony joining him on the 2017-18 edition of the Thunder, Westbrook is still averaging a near-triple-double, and Oklahoma City appears poised to best last yearu2019s 47 wins. The Legend of Russ has only begun, as Westbrook is just in his age-29 season and has maintained relative health throughout his career. The sky is the limit when it comes to the statistics that Westbrook will continue putting up.
