        welcome to toy trains on tracks                   ( home of the black diamond railway). what would you like to see for train action ? (check all that apply) layout operation. for how-to there is not much left that hasnt already been covered in the first three videos.  if you have any new ideas or requests, or feel there is something you would like to see redone in more detail please send me and email using  subway.  this work took 1 year to complete and was captured in part iii. replicated scenes, the buildings, mountains and ground cover reflect the look and feel of the coal region area.  in fact, the ground cover on the layout is real rock collected from old coal roads in the coal region. as many engines as i want except when i run multiple pas*enger trains.  the lights from the pas*enger car consume much more power limiting the number of trains i can run.  not much of a problem for me because i like to run freight.  this engine has undergone the following modification to improve its appearance:  fixed pilot and added plastic fill, filled coupler opening, added scale coupler and air hose, added fill and piping details above the trucks, added piping detail to the trucks, moved the trucks in, replaced the walkway chain with a scale chain and lastly added heavy weathering.  click on the image below to see more photos this consists of the lionel visionline big boy, dd35 (with fixed pilot) and the new 21 pas*enger cars.  the 3-rail couplers were replaced on the pas*enger cars by mounting kadee couplers to the kinematic coupling mechanism which provided the closest separation
