Fashion,  inspiration  and  support  for  women  with  invisible  physical  challenges  and  disabilities. If you just stumbled here (literally for some) you are definitely in the right place. I am soooo happy you found this site and can’t wait to meet you. I can be controlling (picture my husband and kid’s enthusiastically nodding) at times and rarely put myself in vulnerable situations. Taking the pictures you see of me with my leg braces showing was Posting those pictures for the world to see is beyond TERRIFYING. Those of us with invisible (not so obvious) physical disabilities have unique fashion and every day life challenges. I started Trend-ABLE because I am pas*ionate about helping other PERFECTLY IMPERFECT women feel and look their best. the ability to make you look younger and like a football player at the exact same time. December 21, 2015 is my CMT diagnosis day…. I currently have significant muscle atrophy in my calves, lower arms, and hands, muscle fasciculations throughout my body, I have bi-lateral foot drop, my toes no longer support my body and are painfully beginning to claw, and I am currently on my second set of AFO’s which are cu*bersome and incredibly uncomfortable. I live in Michigan and it’s cold In the month of December. Yep, I know, shocking right? But, once temps drop below 40 degrees it’s all we Midwesterners ever seem to talk about…rather, complain about. For the typical and “able” winter despiser, December to early March is The Holiday Season isn’t all jingle bells and sleigh rides when you have an invisible disability. As temps begin falling and your calendar starts filling, the stress and worry about how the hell you’ll make it through it all, rears it’s Scrooge like head. Of course this time of year can be stressful for everyone. There is a ton of pressure to be merry and create picture perfect, Norman Rockwell like moments, to Tis the season for freezing your as* off, maxing out your credit cards and for me, stressing about what to wear to holiday parties over leg
