I started my working life at 16 years old as an apprentice joiner and cabinet maker for a building company. After serving my time, I bought a saw mill and began felling trees and drying them before turning them into bespoke furniture. Whilst I was manufacturing the furniture, I developed an interest in lighting. This led me to begin to design and manufacture table lamps and floor stands. To gain a further insight and develop my designs, I travelled to Spain where I learned the art of glas* blowing, silver soldering bras* chandeliers, mining and turning Alabaster. With the knowledge I had gained over the years I began trading through my first showroom opened by  Princess Margaret and the start of Turnaround2000. With an underlying pas*ion for woodworking I returned to my roots and began spraying staircase components and spindles for major building companies. This led me to the refurbishment of hotels and other large properties, restoring and painting the beautiful wooden panels As a natural progression I began to design and manufacture prototypes for the furniture components industry and even importing goods from all over Europe and more recently as far afield as China. I still enjoy this role now as Managing Director of Turnaround2000.  We now manufacturer our own beautiful hand turned table bases and floor stands in many colours and finishes.
